Unstable Presence Curatorial Introduction

Seeing is often grounded in recognition. As scale begins to shift, familiar landscapes gradually lose their usual points of reference. Sea and land, water and light, settlements and terrain continue to transform through time, quietly reshaping their relationships with one another. Unstable Presence is not about a particular place. It is an experience of seeing. Through changing distances and spatial rhythms, the works invite viewers to reconsider their relationship with the images before them. As perception slows, subtle transformations emerge, revealing a world in continual becoming. The exhibition unfolds in three chapters. Rather than presenting three separate series, they offer three interconnected ways of seeing, guiding viewers through an evolving relationship between image, space, and the world.
