Time itself cannot be seen, yet it continually leaves traces upon the world.

In 2024, Textures of Time first appeared as a series within The Circle of Time, observing how time becomes visible through the textures and surfaces of the natural world.

At Place M, Tokyo, in 2026, the idea was reorganized and reinterpreted. Texture was no longer understood only as a physical trace, but as a way in which time acts upon the world: melting ice and snow, shifting landscapes, moving life, and forms of existence continually emerging and fading.

Time thus becomes more than something recorded by the image; it becomes a force continually unfolding within it.
